About
Noah DiRuzza was born in Canton Ohio in 1990. He received a BA from Kent State University in 2017 and his MFA at Miami University of Ohio in 2022. DiRuzza’s multimedia work examines the ways in which humans’ perception of natural environments is formed. He does this by challenging history, language, technology, and other
dominant contributors of perception. His work stretches into the realm of post humanism as he often times blurs the distinction of what it truly means to be human through his ad-hoc assemblage of materials. He complicates subject/object orientations by allowing his audience to not only observe the work autonomously, but participate in the assemblage as it unfolds, ultimately witnessing their own contributions.
